The Holiday Hill campground and Dam Site Area at Toronto Lake offer lots of recreational opportunities for anglers, boaters, swimmers and campers. Both public areas are on the south end of the reservoir.
The Dam Site Area is open to day-use visitors; there are no campsites in this public use area.
Here, you’ll find access to the lake’s spillway and the Verdegris River. Fishing and picnicking are the main recreational options in the Dam Site Area.
Just north of the Toronto Lake Dam Site Area is the Holiday Hill Area.
The Holiday Hill Area has campsites for RVs and tents. It’s a nice, cozy area with treed campsites that give you more of a private experience.
There aren’t a lot of recreational options, but there are a couple of hiking and biking trails.
The Blackjack Trail and the Oakridge Trail are short trails that go through woodlands and open prairie. They’re excellent for viewing wildlife and wild flowers. The trails are connected by a spur trail, and their combined length is about two miles.
