November is a time for reflection and to express gratitude for everything we’ve been given throughout the year.
Dear Friend,
November is one of my favorite months of the year. First of all, I love the weather! It’s also a time to gather and reconnect with loved ones. And lastly, it’s a time for me to give thanks for all I’ve been given, whether it’s been a little or a lot.
November is a Time for Outdoors
I’m not a fan of hot temperatures. If the temperature is above 80 degrees, I’m pretty miserable and I sweat through my clothes…it’s embarrassing. So when the weather gets cooler, I feel like I can finally enjoy the outdoors.
I do my best hiking in November. I don’t get to the trails as much as I want to, but when I do, this is my favorite time to do it. The cool temperatures, the seasonal changes, and all the colors put me in a pretty good mood.

November is a Time for Family and Friends
For me, Halloween kicks of the Holiday Season, and November is right in the middle of it. This is the time for special gatherings with family and friends.
Whether you’re watching football, sitting around a firepit, or hosting a Thanksgiving feast, now is the time to reconnect and enjoy time with your loved ones.

November is a Time for Gratitude
As the days get shorter and the holiday stresses pile up, November can be a difficult month for many people. You may be separated from family. Or worried about Christmas. Or feeling down as another year closes.
I’d encourage you to slow down and really look at all you have. No matter how much or how little you think you have, if you stop and think about each individual thing in your life, you’ll probably see abundance rather than scarcity.
Giving thanks and expressing gratitude can really change your perspective and lift your spirits.
